Its my moms recipe … very very simple……..
shrimp scampi with lingiune pasta
Fettucccine ia a kind of pasta. we can also use linguine or angel hair pasta. this dish tastes good with lemon & shrimp. you can adjust the amount of pasta & shrimp according to your requirement. this recipe yields for 4 to 5 persons.
This is a dish which is made with brinjal/ eggplant and shrimp/prawn.. I was thinking to try this for many days. But finally gave it a try after getting good suggestion from Mullai. It worked. Tastes very good…
Regarding rose on the dish(picture).. I just gave a try with the tomato skin.. Ha ha. it worked man.,.. very happy..
Eral Biryani is one of my favourite dish and there are quite a few ways of making it. Cooking seafood with a tinge of coconut has been a family tradition and this one is no exception. Making this with fresh baby prawns would be awesome but quite hard to find small shrimp or prawn around my place and ended up making with jumbo shrimps to satisfy my palatte. This mild flavoured biryani requires minimal work and comes in handy for a quick non-veg treat.

We, in our family circle have this flair for combining vegetables with non-veggies and get to taste something unusual atleast once a week. In one way, it was good, as we consumed the dish just for the smell and taste without even caring about the veggie. Here's one such interesting combination… Kovakkai cooked with shrimp and loads of freshly ground black pepper. (Kovakkai ~ Ivy gourd, Milagu ~ Black pepper, Eral ~ Prawns/Shrimp)

Ridge gourd combined with shrimp to make this delicious curry. A very rare combination, which works out great when cooked well seasoned in the form of a peppery thick gravy. The recipe shared here is from my granny and all credit goes to her.
