Description
"Glimpse of Eclipse" is a non-food related post submitted with the intension to give the readers, a break from my usual scary boring recipes. Its been 2 years since food blogging and every pot & pan in my kitchen, seems to literally caught up in the " leave me alone phobia" and me…desperately looking for an excuse to escape cooking. Yesterday was perfect… a total lunar eclipse, crystal clear skies… brutally cold though, spicy Thai take out… what more could I ask for?? With something extraordinary happening in front of your eyes, with amazing beauty which we don't get to see that often, why not avail it ???? Quicky grabbed my camera and started gazing at the moon trying to capture the best.
A lunar eclipse occurs at Full Moon and only if the Moon passes through some portion of Earth's shadow. Total lunar eclipse takes place when sun, moon and earth are alinged exactly very close with Earth in the center.
Simple science
"Sun" supplying light —- " Earth" in the center blocking the light —- "Moon" covered with earth's shadow.
Here's my science
SpiceIndiaOnline, throwing light… "Sun" —- My Camera, captures the or from "Earth" — My readers, highlight of the day "Moon"
