Description
Prawn rice is a simple lunch box recipe which my mom used to prepare during my school days. Why don’t you give it a try !!!

| 1 cup | Prawn/shrimp[cleaned] |
| 1 tsp | Turmeric powder |
| 1 tsp | Chilli powder |
| 1 tsp | Ginger garlic paste |
| Salt (as per taste) |

| 2 no | Onion (medium size finely chopped) |
| 1 T | Ginger (chopped) |
| 1 T | Garlic (chopped) |
| 1 no | Green chili (slit open) |
| 1 tbsp | Turmeric powder |
| 1 tbsp | Red chili powder |
| 1 tbsp | Coriander /dhania powder |
| 1 tsp | Mustard and cumin seeds |
| Curry leaves ( little) | |
| Coriander leaves | |
| Mint leaves | |
| Salt (as per taste) | |
| 1 cup | Boiled rice |
| 3 tbsp | Oil |
Instructions
Soak the cleaned prawns with ingredients of table 1 for 15 minutes and fry in oil till brown.( I used to fry prawns with little chopped onions). Keep it aside.
Splutter mustard and cumin seeds with oil in a wide pan. Put chopped ginger & garlic and saute. Now add onions, green chillies, curry leaves and cook till translucent. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder and coriander powder and cook for a minute. Now add fried prawns, boiled rice , salt and mix well. Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
