potato kootu

Description

Potato kootu is my mother-in-law's best recipe. This is very easy to prepare and it can be served with chapathi, rice , poori.
Ingredients

Instructions

Ing 
Potato –   4-5 nos.
Channa dhal    – 4-5 tbsp
Oil                – 2 tbsp
Sambhar podi  – 2 tbsp
Curry leaves    – 4-5
Fennel seed  – 1/4 tbsp
Method:
Cut the potatoes in to cubes and boil along with channa dhal till it becomes soft.  Add sambar podi and allow it to boil till the raw smell goes. Garnish with curry leaves and fennel seeds.

    when to use oil and fennel seeds…??

      after the entire process is over .heat little oil in a pan add curry leaves and fennel seeds.
