Description
Hi Here is the recipe with Garlic Chives[ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Garlic_chives ] ..Garlic Chives Stir Fry…I bought it thinking i will make Fried rice but ended up making this dish.
First when i bought it, i dint know the English name of it then asked Mullai… and here is her explanation,”These are garlic chives here or chinese chives. We do see this but occassionally as this has got strong garlicy smell compared to regular chives. But oriental store have them for sure. They all belong to the same onion plant. Spring onions, leeks, chives, chinese chives… all in the same family.”
I tried out when i dint have much vegetables at home.Started making it as a side dish for Sambaar. It tasted Yummy with sambaar.Hope u will like it.
