Corriander and Ginger thuvayal

Description

Corriander thuvayal is a tasty and easy recipe.. here we go….:)
Ingredients
1 bunch Corriander leaves (medium bunch)(chopped)
7 strands Curry leaves (chopped)
4 T Ginger (chopped)
3 T Urad dhal
5 nos Red chilli (small)
1 tsp Mustard seed
½ cup Coconut scrapped
Tamarind (lime size)
1 tsp Asafoetida powder
Salt to taste
1½ T Oil

Instructions

Heat oil in a kadai/pan. Splutter mustard seeds, Add the urad dhal , red chilli, asafoedita and fry till golden brown .

Add corriander, curry leaves, ginger and fry till they done well .

Add the coconut, salt and tamarind. Mix well.

Cool for some time. Grind them by adding required amount of water.

Serve the thuvayal with steaming rice, puli kolambu and vetral kolambu.

Notes

In the steaming rice add 1 tsp gingerlly oil and add the thuvayal mix and eat.. U will surely like it 🙂
