Description
cholam is more nutricious and healthy than rice.it has more fibre,and once in a week we can use cholam.this recipe has no oil at all.

1 cup | Cholam |
¼ cup | Urad dal |
1 tsp | Venthiam |

Instructions
soak all the ingredients together for 3 hrs.grind to a fine paste.leave it toferment for6 to 8 hours.add a pinch of aappa soda and salt.the batter should be in thin consistancy.keep the aappa kadai on the stove and keep in medium heat.when it is hot,pour 1 big karandi flour in the middle,and hold the kadai in your hand and swirl the kadai to spread the flour evenlyaround the kadai.cover and after 5 mts open the lid and if the aappam is crispy ,take it off,no need to turn over.you can enjoy this with any chutney,sambar,kurma.very healthy and tasty tiffin too
