| 2 T | Tur dal |
| 1 tsp | Cumin seeds |
| 1 tsp | Fennel seeds |
| 3 nos | Red chilli |
| 1 inch | Ginger |
Instructions
Soak Thuvar dhal and Chana dhal for 1-2 hrs.Then Grind all the Ingredients from Ingredients-2(Thuvar Dhal,Chana Dhal,Ginger,Red Chillies,Cumin seeds & Fennel seeds) to a coarse paste; add little quantity of water while grinding, if required.
Heat Oil in a pan and add mustard ,Urad dhal and curry leaves;add chopped Onions ,Tumeric powder and Asafoetida powder and fry until golden brown.Then add the chopped beans (If required, beans may be cooked in the microwave for 4-5min) and fry for another 5minutes.Then add the ground mixture along with salt and keep stirring till the mixture gets well mixed with the beans and turns to a golden brown color.
Add required amount of oil to the preparation to avoid sticking to the pan.
Average preparation time for this dish is 25-30 minutes.
