| Ingredients | |
|---|---|
| ½ cup | Jaggery(powdered) |
| 2 cup | Water |
| 3 T | Ginger |
| 5 nos | Cloves |
| 3 nos | Cinnamon sticks |
| 3 T | Fresh lemon juice |
Instructions
Heat 2 cup of water with jaggery (if u feel its too much can decrease as ur wish)..stir continously until the jaggery pieces get dissolved n bring them to boil, put off the stove, keep aside n let them cool, meanwhile chop finely ginger, filtre the jaggery syrup with a colander, this will helps to get free from some tiny particles if presents in jaggery syrup…before ppls used to say that jaggery may contains sand…if u think ur jaggery syrup is good n clean no need to do as though…keep the flame in simmer n add the ginger pieces, cloves n cinnamon sticks to the jaggery syrup n stir them occasionally for 15 minutes, put off the stove…keep aside atleast for 2 hrs…filter now the spiced jaggery syrup n keep them in fridge, while serving add lemon juice to the syrup n serve them with ice cubes…
Dilute the syrup as ur wish…kids will love this…a very good refreshing sharbat…
