| 2 cup | Channa dal |
| 4 nos | Spring onions(chopped finely) |
| ¼ no | Onion(chopped finely) |
| 4 nos | Green chillies |
| 1½ tsp | Ginger grated or chopped thin |
| ¾ tsp | Fennel seed powder |
| 1 cup | Small shrimps r big shrimps |
| 5 nos | Curry leaves |
| 3 stks | Coriandre leaves |
| Salt as per taste | |
| Oil for deep frying |
Instructions
To make the vadai, soak Channa dal for at least one n half an hour . Then wash and drain the water, keep aside 2 tablespoons of channa dal, grind coarsely the rest channa dal and mix chopped onion,chopped spring onions, green chillies pieces, gratedginger,curry leaves, coriander leaves, shrimps (if the shrimps r big cut them into small pieces),fennel seed powder with salt, 2 table spoons of channa dal..mix everything to form a thick dough..Heat oil n fry them as deep frying..do them in batches..drain the excess oil in a paper towel n serve.
