Onion chutney

Description

  • Shelf life-3months if refrigerated in a sterlized container.
  • Can be taken with idli,dosai and curd rice.
Ingredients
10 nos Onion
5 nos Red chillies
2 inch Tamarind
1 cup Gingelly oil
1 tsp Salt or to taste

Instructions

1.Saute onions in 1/4cup oil till goldenbrown and grind to a fine paste without adding water.

 

2.Now add the remaining oil and fry the content till you get the dark brown colour.

    Hai kalpana, I tried out ur onion chutney 2day.it was simply superb.Usually i'll not fry after grinding. this time i fried the ground paste. Also i didnt have small onions. I used the red big ones. Its very tasty. gud recipe.thanq.
