kadalai (Peanut) Vathakuzhambu

Kadalai vathakuzhambu is a very tasty dish which can be prepared easily and it goes well with coconut thuvayal . this can also be stored for a week in air tight container.

Peanuts – 1/2 cup

Gingley oil – 5- 6 tbsp

Sambar podi – 2 tbsp

Curry leaves – 4-5

Fenugreek – 1/2 tbsp

Tamarind juice – 1 cup

hing as per taste

salt as per taste.

 

Method:

Soak tamarind and extract the juice . Heat oil in a pan and fry fenugreek , curry leaves, mustard, peanuts till golden brown. add the tamarind juice, sambar podi, salt and allow it to boil to a thick consistency. Serve with hot rice and ghee.
