Ingredients | |
---|---|
2 cup | Raw peanuts with skin |
2 cup | Oil (for deep frying) |
1 tsp | Red chilli powder (or to taste) |
½ tsp | Salt (or to taste) |
Instructions
* Heat oil in a pan
* Fry the peanuts over medium high flame until it turns golden brown or till the outer peanut cover turns little dark pink (takes about 70 – 90 seconds). Fry them batch by batch and place it in paper towel to drain any excess oil (not for a long time though as the salt and chilli powder coating will be good if there is a little oil left on the peanuts).
* Place the content in a bowl and sprinkle the red chilli powder and salt and mix the contents well.
Tasty peanut snack is ready in minutes. Enjoy as a side dish for saambaar, rasam or curd rice or as an evening snack.
Notes
Curry leaves can be added but optional.
