Hi Mullai,
This pulav looks so inviting…..i like the tomato flower on the top of the biryani..u shud probably teach us how to do that too!!!! awaiting ur reply
Meena.
Meena, its very simple. Make a small cross cut using a knife, then by using a potato peeler, gently peel the tomato skin without breaking, roll it and press over the rice. If you have problem holding it together, just insert a toothpick at the bottom to hold.
We get vege kurma, somekindda spicy gravy & something made with raw onion & curd(is tat the onion pachadi?) for all sort of pulao or briyani at Indian Restaurant in SL.
Hi Mullai,
Could you tell me what is the best side dish(i.e curry or korma)for this pulav. Please let me know.
Thanks
MB
Hi MB, If you wanna to go real simple, try onion raita or pachadi. Under vegetarian dishes, Navrathana kurma goes well with any pulav variety, mushroom or bell pepper gravy would be perfect too. Spicy prawn masala, chicken or shrimp with mushroom kurma, any simple egg gravy would be my choice. Try and let me know which one was your choice.
