Pachai Mor Kuzhambu
Ingredients
Ingredients - for tempering
- 2 teaspoon Oil
- 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon Split black gram
- 1/2 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- 2 each Dry Red Chilli
- 1/2 teaspoon Asafoetida
- 5 each Curry leaves
Ingredient -to whisk
- 2 cups Yogurt / thick plain curd
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Sambar Podi
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
Ingredients - to saute
- 1 teaspoon Oil
- 6 each Ladysfinger / Okra / Vendakkai
Instructions
- Saute vendakkai / okra in little oil until slightly crisp. remove and keep aside.
- Whisk yogurt with water, salt, black pepper powder, turmeric powder and sambar podi.
- Heat oil in a tadka pan, temper with mustard,split black gram cumin seeds, dry red chilli and curry leaves.
- Add this tempering to the yogurt mix, add in sauteed okra and give a quick stir.
- Serve it right away or refrigerate for later use. Top it over rice and serve along with choice of curry.
