Mango Lassi

Description

Lassi is a traditional North Indian yogurt based smoothie. Sweetened version of this is made with fruits and honey. Here is one such smoothie with Mango being the highlight.

Mango Milk Shake / Mango Smoothie / Lassi / Mango

Ingredients
3 nos Mango (ripe)
1 cup Yogurt/curd
1½ tbsp Sugar / honey
¼ cup Milk
½ cup Water
5 nos Ice cubes

Instructions

Cut the mango, remove the skin, discard the seeds and separate the pulp. In a blender combine mango pulp, yogurt, sugar or honey, milk, water and ice cubes. Blend well for 30 seconds or until frothy. Refridgerate and serve.

Notes

Serves 2 approx.

Pinch of salt and crushed cardamom  can be added, but purely optional.

If using store bought sweetened Mango pulp, use 1 cup or adjust sweetness depending on the taste as its concentrated.

Refridgerate upto a day.

    HI mullai

Fresh ripe mangoes are my pick, bcos I personally don't like canned mangoes. If you have no choice then go with canned pulp.
