Description

Hi all, kunuku is a yummy and tasty dish for tiffin in evening, it is made with full of pulses(paruppu vagai) and rice.It is really protein rich dish…Itis a type of savoury…kids will love it so give a try…

Ingredients
2 cup Chana dhal
1 cup Toor dhal
1 cup Urad dhal
1 cup Raw rice (pachai arisi)
7 nos Red chili
2 tsp Asafoetida powder
1 T Coconut (grated)
1 no Onion ( chopped)
2 tsp Ghee
2 strands Curry leaves (chopped)
Salt to taste
Oil for frying

Instructions

soak channa dhal, toor dhal, urad dhal, rice in water for more than 5 hours.

Drain the water and add the red chilli,salt and asafoedita and grind coarsely. add very little water for grinding.

Take a bowl change the ground mixture from the mixie add the onion and ghee

heat the oil, pour little hot oil to the mixture.

mix the mixture nicely, drop little by little to the hot oil. no shapes is required. deep fry till golden brown.

serve it hot with the tomato sauce. yummy & crispy kunuku is ready for taste.
