Coriander seeds-5tbsp
Black pepper corns-5tbsps
Cumin seeds-2 tbsp
Red chilli -2nos
Fry all ing. and dry grind coarsely and store them in a ziplok pouch.Use 11/2 tsp powder for 2 cups rasam.

Tamarind-lemon size
Grind tomatoes-2nos(medium size)
Garlic crushed-3
Coriander leaves-2 tbsp
Curry leaves few
Rasam powder-11/2 tsp
Tur dal cooked-1/2 cup
Salt 1 tsp
Asafoetida a pinch
Turmeric a pinch
Water 2 cups
For tempering
Oil-1 tbsp
Tur dal-1/4 tsp
mustard seeds-1/4 tsp
Method
Mix the above ing. and temper when it starts to boil and switch off gas.It is ready to serve.
