1 T | Chilly powder |
1 tsp | Ginger garlic paste |

½ | Onion[big sized finely chopped] |
1 | Tomato[medium sized chopped] |
1 tsp | Ginger garlic paste |
Whole spices[ few fennel seeds,big cardamom, 2 cloves,1 inch cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf] | |
1 | Green chillies[slit opened] |
½ T | Chilly powder and corriander powder[adjust as per preference] |
1 tsp | Garam masala powder |
Salt as per need | |
1 | Tomato[medium sized chopped to grind] |
1 | Onion[big size chopped length wise to grind] |
Corriander leaves and curry leaves for garnishing. | |
1 tsp | Cumin seed powder |
Instructions
1. Marinate the fish for 2 hours by adding all the contents of ingredient no:1
2.Deep fry the fish and keep it aside.
3.Grind onion and tomato in ingredient no:2 [where i have specified to grind]and keep it aside.
4.Take a pan add oil and whole spices, now add onion and once when onion turns translucent add green chillies curry leaves and saute well.Add the ground content and saute till the raw smell disappears.
5.Add Ginger garlic paste and saute till u get nice aroma, now add tomato and mix well till the tomatoes mashes well.
6.Add garam masala powder, chilly powder , corriander powder, cumin seed powder and salt mix well and wait till u find nice gravy.
7.Now add the fried fish and leave it on stove for bout 5 minutes and garnish with corriander leaves.
Fried fish gravy is ready now.
Notes
1.I have used macere for this recipe.
2.Adjust chilly powder as per taste.
