Description
Dum Aloo is a North Indian dish. Potatoes cooked in curd with spices .
Ingredients | |

3 nos | Baby potatoes |
1 cup | Curd |
½ tsp | Ginger garlic paste |
½ tsp | Chilli powder |
¼ tsp | Turmeric powder |
¾ tsp | Coriander powder |
¼ tsp | Jeera powder |
pinch | Pepper powder |
Salt | |
Oil |
Instructions
Boil potatoes remove skin, prick the potatoes and deep or shallow fry . Mix curd, chilli, coriander, jeera powders, ginger garlic paste, salt, pepper with potatoes . Heat oil in a pan add the potatoes curd mixture stir contionusly as curd will stick to the bottom of the pan add little water and cook till oil separates in a slow flame (for dum) for 10 to 15 min. Remember to stir in between. Garnish with coriander leaves. Check the taste according to it add chilli powder, salt to taste as curds differ from place to place.
Notes
Serve with nan/roti or any special rice
