Dal Makhani

Description

This dish is with black gram beans and tomatoes blended into a thic richy spiced butter sauce. Ideally served as main dish with jeera rice, naan / chapatis..

Ingredients
200 g Black dhal whole
20 g Rajma
20 g Chana dhal
200 g Tomato sauce
1 inch Ginger
2 no Garlic
1 tsp Ghee
2 T Fresh cream
1 tsp Dhania powder
1 tsp Haldi powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
1 tsp Kasturi methi
Salt to taste
1 tsp Garam masala powder

Instructions

Mix all the dal and soak overnight.

Add salt and cook it.

Take a pan put a tsp of ghee. Add a tbsp of fresh cream.

Then add 1 tsp of jeera, chopped ginger and garlic.

Fry them and add tomato sauce.Fry till the smell goes off. Mix dhania powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, kasturi methi, garam masala powder and fry properly.

Add 1 more tbsp of fresh cream and let it cook for some time.

Add the cooked dal into this gravy and let it cook till the oil comes out. Add salt to taste.

Notes

We can add little of orange color
