Corriander thuvayal is a tasty and easy recipe.. here we go….:)
Ingredients | |
---|---|
1 bunch | Corriander leaves (medium bunch)(chopped) |
7 strands | Curry leaves (chopped) |
4 T | Ginger (chopped) |
3 T | Urad dhal |
5 nos | Red chilli (small) |
1 tsp | Mustard seed |
½ cup | Coconut scrapped |
Tamarind (lime size) | |
1 tsp | Asafoetida powder |
Salt to taste | |
1½ T | Oil |
Instructions
Heat oil in a kadai/pan. Splutter mustard seeds, Add the urad dhal , red chilli, asafoedita and fry till golden brown .
Add corriander, curry leaves, ginger and fry till they done well .
Add the coconut, salt and tamarind. Mix well.
Cool for some time. Grind them by adding required amount of water.
Serve the thuvayal with steaming rice, puli kolambu and vetral kolambu.
Notes
In the steaming rice add 1 tsp gingerlly oil and add the thuvayal mix and eat.. U will surely like it 🙂
