Banana Blossoms / Banana flower is not that common here in USA except for some coastal and tropical regions. To my surprise found one fresh in my local market this week. Atlast!
With a few basic ingredients in my pantry and some leftover idli / dosa batter in my refrigerator….and with humongous craving for flavourful simple dinner then immediately steaming piping hot idlis with tomato kurma is all I can think of ! My recipe goes with extra cinnamon flavour… BTW, it goes very well with tomato combination.

This style of making prawn fry is from karaikudi tamilnadu. In our home we used to prepare this spicy prawns as a side dish for sambar. we can add it to the rice and have it just like that too….very simple preperation:)
