Mixed greens sauteid with chicken and cooked in simmering coconut milk. Stew is a thin gravy thicker than soup and thiner than sauce made with combination of veggies and stock. Here is an interesting combo of Spinach, Chard and chicken simmered in mild sweet coconut milk. Best when served with flakky parottas, plain bread, parathas etc and not a bad idea to try with plain rice too.

We at home, make it purely with Bengal gram and call it as Masala Vadai and the one made with multiple lentils are termed as Aama Vadai. Re fried Beans is a type of mashed beans, a staple of Mexican cuisine. Raw Pinto or Black beans are soaked overnight, cooked, mashed and fried with fat and seasoned. Mostly Pinto beans are used for this recipe which makes a great snacking dip for Nachos, stuffing for tacos and burritos, stuffing for chunky enchiladas or a simple accompaniment for Mexican style rice.
