One great place I recommend for eyebrow threading in Valley Stream, NY (long island) is ANS Beauty Salon. It’s hard to find a good place in long island and this place hits the mark for eyebrow threading, after five visits the 6th eyebrow is free. The owner is a very nice lady. Just my 2 cents.

Lisa’s Dream salon in Lansing has a girl who does threading, but only once a week on Fridays, and it’s a bit pricey at $17. But when you’re the only game in town you can charge what you want I guess. She did a very good job on me, hope that helps!

waxing lasts long. but i have read many articles saying not to do waxing. shaving is any day better than it. Just apply some moisture after shaving to make the legs & hands smother… Apply aloe vera creams as well.
In old days they use turmeric powder (cooking one & the one u apply for face are different) everyday which controls hair growing on ur hand & leg. who does it nowadays. Mom uses veet cream… I tried it too. but its so annoying.. the smell stays in the room for the whole day.. so i prefer shaving…

google it and to your surprise you’ll see that most women in USA do shaving except face..waxing only for face..waxing needs time and money and patience to tolerate pain..agree that shaving doesnot remove hair from the root but its economical and mess free and just takes a couple of minutes during shower.

In NJ, Pari Beauty Parlour, Oak Tree Rd is the best, this is my personal opinion. In that Parlour some ladies will do threading perfectly but some won’t, they will do as member Truth said. So i always make a call and confirm whether the lady whom i likes to thread is there…

Sringar beauty parlor at 779 Newark Avenue, Jersey City, is the worst that I have ever been to. When I asked for thicker eyebrows (mind well, my eyebrows were fully grown), what I get is thinnest possible eyebrow!! The shapes of the two eyebrows doesn’t match!! And the worst part is the way the threading is done… they just pull your hair!!! I have never experienced so much pain ever!! Not even when I did eyebrows for the first time!!
It doesn’t matter what you want, they’ll do what they want to do.
I would suggest don’t go there, but if you still want to… then Good luck to you!

Hi, I was wondering if you ever did happen to find a place that does eyebrow threading in Green Bay or Appleton Wisconsin. I found one at the JC Penny in the fox river mall, but it is outrageous. It is 15 dollars per eye. I used to get in done in Chicago for 8 dollars total. I found a website for Jacques Dessange Salon in GB off of Broadway. I am going to call tomorrow on pricing.
