Green Chicken

Ingredients:

Whole Chicken – 1kg

Coriander – 1/2 bunch

Mint – little less than half bunch

Onion – 1 small (indian size)

Tomato – 1 (or 2 indian size) 

Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 tsp

Green Chilly – 2-3 small or as per taste

Jeera – 1 tsp

Pepper powder – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp

Garam Masala powder – 1 tsp

Oil – 3 tbsp

Salt – as per taste

 

Method:
========

Grind all the ingredients without adding water or very less water. Marinate the paste with chicken and keep it for half an hour. 

Take a wide vessel or pan and put the marinade chicken in that and cook it on medium flame. It will start leaving water. Let it cook until the gravy thickens. Now add oil and let the gravy dry up. fry the chicken in that oil for some more time untill it looks a bit crisp.

 

Serve it with pulao, or dal fry as a side dish. Serves 4
