| 3 nos | Tomato (finely chopped or crushed) |
| 1 no | Green chilli |
| 3 clove | Garlic |
| ¼ tsp | Turmeric powder |
| 2 tsp | Rasam powder |
| 4 tbsp | Tamrind juice (or thick store bought pulp 1/4 tsp) |
| 3 cup | Water |
| 2 tsp | Salt (or to taste) |
| 1 pinch | Sugar |
| 2 tsp | Oil |
| 1 no | Dry red chilli |
| ½ tsp | Mustard |
| ½ tsp | Cumin seeds |
| 5 nos | Curry leaves |
| ½ tsp | Asafoetida powder |
| 3 stks | Corrainder leaves |
Instructions
Heat oil in pan, add dry red chillies, mustard, cumin seeds , curry leaves and asafoetida powder. Once it splutters, add the green chillies , garlic and tomatoes. Let the tomatoes cook for while, until they become soft and juicy. Now add tamrind pulp, rasam powder, turmeric, salt , sugar, coriander and water. Wait for it to boil, once done transfer the content immediately to a bowl. Do not let it boil for long time. Tasty rasam ready !!!!
