Tomato Briyani

Description

Tomato Briyani is a very tasty receipe, it goes really gud with any type of raitha.

Ingredients
200 g Basmathi rice
3 nos Tomato (finely chopped or crushed)
2 nos Onion medium ( chopped finely)
1 tsp Ginger & garlic paste
3 no Cloves
1 no Pattai garambu
2 no Cardamom
3 tbsp Oil ( as per need)
2 tsp Chilly powder
2 pinch Termaric powder
Salt (as per taste)
2 tsp Ghee

Instructions

Clean Basmati rice by washing and drain it and keep it aside.

Heat oil and ghee in the pressure cooker and saute all the spices (pattai garambu, cardamom, cloves)

Add chopped onions and stir until it turns transparent

Add finely chopped tomatoes and cook for 3 mintues, now add chilly powder,termeric powder.

Once the oil seperates now add basmati rice, salt and mix well.

Add required amount of water to cook the rice.

Now pressure cook in simmer until 4 whistle.

Hot Tomato Briyani is ready to serve with raitha.

Notes

Amount of water can be in 1:2 ratio (1 cup of rice with 2 cups of water )
