Oats Halwa

Description

Oats r very good for health..while dieting oats r very much recommended..oatmeals can help us to reduce our cholestrol, as well as they r rich in fibre..tried it out as halwa..here we go..
Ingredients
¾ cup Rolled oats
1 cup Sugar
1½ cup Milk
2 T Ghee
2 pinch Food colour
¼ cup Almond flakes
2 tsp Cardamom powder

Instructions

Grind coarsely rolled oats in a food processor r blender, this will give one cup of oats, keep aside..heat one tsp of ghee in a kadai n roast the coarsely powdered oats in simmer for a while,now heat the milk in a kadai with sugar n bring them boil n stir them continously until sugar gets dissolved…once the sugar gets dissolved add the roasted oats to the milk, stir it continously, add ghee little by little to the oats, add the food colour while stirring too…once the halwa gets off from the bottom of the kadai, add the cardamom powder n almond flakes, keep 2 tsp of almond flakes aside for garnishing…put off the stove…grease a plate n pour the halwa to the plate..garnish with the almond flakes n let them cool..

Tasty Oats Halwa is ready to enjoy..
