Kothu Kari Paratha

Paratha with kothu kari was an excellent dish for kids always for adults, can have them without any side dish n will be very tasty n kids will love this paratha, try it out, really worth to try…

Keema paratha/Minced mutton meat paratha/ Kaima paratha

Ingredients-1
½ cup Minced mutton meat
1 no Onion chopped
½ no Tomato chopped
1 tsp Garam masala powder
1 tsp Red chilli powder
½ tsp Fennel seed powder
1 tsp Ginger n garlic paste
Salt as per taste
2 tsp Cilantro chopped, oil
Ingredients-2
2 cup Wheat flour
¼ cup Yoghurt
Salt as per taste
2 tsp Oil
Maida for dusting

Instructions

Mix everything in a large bowl from ingredients-2 except the maida for dusting n knead as a dough, sprinkle some water if needed while kneading…keep aside n close them with a lid.

Meanwhile heat oil in a pan, add the chopped onions as well as tomatoes pieces n ginger garlic paste, n stir them continously once the raw smell goes away add the fennel seed powder, garam masala powder n stir them for a while, now add the kothukari(minced mutton meat)with a pinch of turmeric powder to the spices n stir occasionaly until they leaves water,dont add water, add the red chilli powder n salt as per taste n cook them in simmer until the oil separates from the meat…close it with a lid while cooking this helps the meat to cook very easily as well as to get separates from the oil, add the finely chopped cilantro leaves n put off the stove…take out from the pan n keep aside n let them cool…

Take a small ball size of the wheat dough n flatten them with maida into thick chappathis, take a spoon full of meat mixture n keep in the middle of the chappathi n cover it entierly with the dough…dust with maida if needed, while flattening, proceed slowly so that the meat mixture wont squeeze out of the dough..if they squeezes out, dust them with maida..roll each balls of dough slowly n keep aside..u may get 10 parathas with this dough..

Heat a kadai n add a spoon of oil r ghee n cook them for a minute in both sides until they turns slightly brownish..cook them slowly n turn them well on both sides…

Serve hot..no need of side dish for this recipe..if u need, can have them with any spicy side dishes…

Notes

Can prepare the same parathas with minced chicken meat too…
