Instructions
Take a large bowl, add the maida flour, rava, sugar n eggs, cardamom powder with a pinch of salt..melt the dalda r butter n add it to the flour mix, sprinkle some water n knead them a firm dough..while sprinkling water should be alert, as we r adding sugar they will turn very soon watery..in case if they r slightly watery can add maida flour n check for sugar(as per taste)..divide the dough into two small doughs..
Sprinkle some maida flour n make them as large chappathis, cut them lengthwise as ribbons…then cut them in verticalwise so that they will ressembles as diamonds…Heat oil in a pan, when oil is hot, fry diamonds until they turn brown in colour…repeat them in batches..dont overcrowd..
Can store them in air tight box..a very good evening snacks for kids..will be very good for one week..

Priya, this reminds me of my childhood days. Our next door neighbor makes these for every Christmas and send them. We normally don’t add eggs to these biscuits but with egg they taste pretty good and can’t stop eating. Thanks for sharing.
