1 cup | Cooked basmati rice |
½ cup | Sprouted moong dal |
1 no | Carrot |
1 no | Green bell pepper |
¼ cup | Cabbage(shredded) |
3 nos | Spring onions |
1 tsp | Green chilly sauce |
2 tsp | Soya sauce(light) |
½ tsp | Black pepper powder |
1 pinch | Sugar |
1 pinch | Msg( ajinamoto) |
3 tsp | Oil |
Salt as per taste | |
2 pinch | White pepper powder(optional) |
Instructions
For sprouting moongdal, it will take quite 3 days, certain dal may sprouted others may not, just remove before making this dish all those unsprouted dals..
Heat oil in a pan, cut the onion, carrot n green bell pepper lengthwise n keep aside..when oil is hot add the onion n stir it until its turn slightly transparent, add the carrots n stir it together, carrots shouldnt be cooked well, add the sprouted moong dal n shredded cabbage to the mildly cooked onion..stir them together for few minutes..when they r slightly cooked add the bell pepper pieces, n turn out twice, add now chilly sauce, soyasauce, msg, pepper powder, sugar n salt n stir them together just for 5 minutes..add the cooked rice with this vegetable mix n stir until everything get well mixed..cut the spring onions into small pieces n add them to the fried rice, sprinkle white pepper powder( its completely optional)..
Serve them hot…Sprouted moongdal Fried rice is ready..
Notes
Can omit Msg if needed…
Can also add more veggies as ur choice..
Vegetables should be crunchy, shouldnt cook them well..
