Prawn Biriyani | Shrimp Biriyani is one of our favorite dish. Easy to cook and tastes yummy.Hope u all will enjoy this recipe.

| Oil and ghee [as per need] | |
| Hand full of mint leaves and corriander leaves | |
| 1 | Onion[big size chopped length wise] |
| 1 | Tomato[medium sized chopped] |
| 2 | Green chillies[slit open] |
| 15 | Prawn/shrimp[cleaned] |
| 1 tsp | Garam masala powder |
| 1 T | Chilly and corriander powder[adjust as per ur taste] |
| Salt as per need | |
| 2 cup | Basmathi rice[cleanednd washed] |
| 2 tbsp | Curd |
| 3 cup | Water |
| Whole spices[ few fennel seeds,big cardamom, 2 cloves,1 inch cinnamon stick, 1 bay leaf] | |
| 1 T | Ginger garlic paste |
Instructions
1. Take a Pressure cooker, add ghee and oil, once when oil is hot enough, add the chopped green chillies, corriander leaves and mint leaves and saute well.
2.Now add the whole spices followed by onion. Saute well till translucent.
3.Add ginger garlic paste and saute well .Now add tomatoes and saute well.
4. Add Prawn | Shrimp and saute well with garam masala powder, chilly powder,corriander powder and salt.
5.Once when it appears like a gravy, add Basmathi rice[washed] and then mix well carefully.Add water and curd and close the pressure cooker.
6. After 1 whistles keep the cooker in sim for 5 minutes , now turn off the cooker and remove the lid once when cooker settles down.
7. Serve hot with Raitha.

Notes
Cooking biriyani in electric cooker is the best way.
If u r in a hurry then Pressure cooker helps in cooking fast.
Water should be 1 and a half cup for one cup of basmathi rice.
