Murungai Keerai Poriyal

Another dish loaded with iron…..
Ingredients
5 cup Murungai keerai washed
½ cup Coconut (grated)
1 tsp Urad dal
2 Red chillies (whole)
Salt (as per taste)
½ tsp Haldi
2 tsp Vegetable oil
1 tsp Mustard seeds

Instructions

Wash the keerai thouroughly.

 

In a pan take oil, add mustard seeds, when they splutter add urad dal. Add keerai and salt, haldi, little water. Cover and cook till soft. (will take about 7-9 mts).

Switch off flame, add grated coconut and serve with rice and aloo curry, sambhar.
