Garden salad is a salad with mixture of lettuce and other vegetables , which you can easily find it in your garden, its a very nice appeziter and also good for ur health and u can easily prepare it at home in a very few minutes| Ingredients-1 | |

| Ingredients-2 | |

| 1 cup | Non flat plain yogurt |
| 1 cup | Lowfat buttermilk |
| 3 T | Mayonnaise |
| 1 tsp | Lemon juice |
| 1 tsp | Onion powder |
| 1 tsp | Garlic powder |
| 1 T | Chives finely chopped |
| Salt (as per taste) |
Instructions
For Ranch dressing :
Normally for ranch dressing we have to use greek style yogurt , if u r using plain nonfat yogurt place it in a stainer put a cheesecloth and place a stainer over the bowl and let the yogurt drain for 15 minutes, Now take a bowl mix all the ingredients from List II(buttermilk, mayonnaise , lemon juice, onion powder , garlic powder, chopped fresh chives ) with the strained yogurt and add salt according to ur taste.
Now ur ranch dressing is ready , if u r not interested to prepare dressing at home u can get the readymade dressing at stores like Ranch /thousand island ……..
Garden salad:
Now take a bowl and add onion (cut lengthwise )carrot, cucumber, tomato,lettuce ,romaine hearts , crouton (its a small piece of rebaked bread )and drizzle ur ranch dressing and cheese (optional) and enjoy…..yummy healthy salad in 5minutes ..
