CFC

 south indian style fried chicken

Ingredients
2 nos Chicken (drumstick)
1 cup All purpose flour
2 T Corn flour
1 T Bread crumbs
1 tsp Chilly powder (as per individual’s preference)
1 T Ginger garlic paste
1 no Eggs (slightly beaten)
1 cup Cilantro(finely chopped)
5 nos Curry leaves
1 tsp Corriander powder
Salt (as per taste)

Instructions

Take a bowl of warm water and add salt , chilly powder/paprika, corriander powder and ginger garlic paste and put the chicken drumstick and marinate it for about two to three hours .

CFC

After 3 hours take the chicken from the water and wipe it with a paper napkin , Now take a beaten eggs and add salt and chopped cilantro and curryleaves and chilly powder or paprika and keep that aside then take allpurpose flour add  little corn flour and bread crumbs(dont add too much of bread crumbs bcos it will ruin the colour of ur chicken) take the chicken and dip it with the beaten egg mixture(egg mixture =beaten egg/cilanto/curryleave/chilly powder /salt) and then immediately put it in the flour(all purpose,corn four , bread crumbs and salt) just coat the chicken with flour and fry the chicken using frier in 325degree for about 15 minutes if u dont have frier you can fry it in a pan or kadai/wok .

CFC 

Notes

Always fry the chicken in a medium heat then only u will get

"Cripsy on the outside ;  juicy on the inside" chicken

    Hi aruna, i used to prepare chicken in the same way . really its very tasty with some hot and sour sauce. outer crispy inner juicy….. since its not very spicy kids will love this……

    Aruna,

    Very tempting, so decided to make it right away. My drumsticks are already taking the 2-3 hr bath in the warm chilly water bubble mix. I have made other things also ready. Once my drumstick have finished the bath, I will dry them , apply the packs & fry them and see how it comes. Will let you know tom.

    Abhimuthu  i think frier is good for these kind of fried chicken i tried this CFC with 325 degree for 10-15 minutes just check the colour it should be in light brown colour .

    Picture is tempting and name is different. Easy recipe tasty recipe I guess. Thanks for sharing. I have not used the frier, but I think it helps to maintain uniform temperature right.. Usually when I fry I always have temperature problem.. will try
