| 1 lb | Boneless chicken (1/2 kg approx, cut into cubes) |
| 4 tsp | Store bought tikka masala paste |
| 1 no | Onion |
| 1 cup | Tomato puree |
| 2 tbsp | Yogurt/curd |
| 2 nos | Green chilli |
| 1 tsp | Honey |
| ¼ tsp | Salt (or to taste) |
| 5 tsp | Oil |
| 4 nos | Bamboo skewers |
| 3 stks | Coriander leaves (for garnishing) |
Instructions


Wash and cut chicken into small cubes. Marinate them with 2 tsp of store bought tikka masala (Maggi works fine) and thread them onto the skewers. Place them on oven proof aluminium tray. Preheat oven to 375 F and bake the for 15 minutes. While the chicken is baking, make the masala by heating oil in a pan and saute chopped onion till they turn golden.

Then add the tomato puree, yogurt, green chillies and honey along with salt. Let it cook for a while, Meanwhile check the chicken, when done, remove them from the skewers and add it to the masala. Again let it simmer for few minutes , garnish with coriander leaves and serve with hot paratha or roti.

Notes
Slightly twist the chicken before removing from the skewers, this would help them loosen up and come off easily without hurting your fingers.
Canned tomatoes works well for this recipe.
Store bought tikka masala will give good restaurant style taste.
