Raw Buttermilk Kuzambu

Description

A kind of raitha which goes well with kootu varieties
Ingredients
½ cup Curd
½ cup Grated coconut
2 tsp Mustard seeds
2 nos G.chillies
1 pinch Turmeric powder
Salt (as per taste)

Instructions

Grind mustard seeds, coconut and green chillies to a coarse paste adding some water.

Beat curds so that there is no lumps. Mix all the ingredients together. Let it be in the consistency of raitha.

Notes

It tastes good if the curd is a bit sour. It is a good side for 'kootu' prepared with any vegetables.

    hi sugan simple recipe in this u can add boiled white pumkin taste will be good white pumkin has lots of minerals so good for health ,all ur recipes are easy to prepare

      Thanks White..we usually add that to regular mor kuzambu…and as this is raw it is to be prepared without any veggies..

        Thats pending. For today… :):):) will get back to you with my results… Stressed out to find Toor dhal actually… At one stage i even felt to drop it.. Then i printed mam's recipe pic & was roaming around for it.. Finally got it… will catch you with my fb…till then tc…:):):)

    Sugan,as i got ths already 4m u, no wonder its gr8.already i made it twice.simple,easy to make n delicious.but i think u told me cumin seeds too….it tasted gud wth cumin seeds also

    Really a new dish for me. It has to be thick or thin? If u beat curd it becomes thin right? This is side dish for kootu or kootu is side dish for this kuzhamu. u already noticed, but pls. clear my doubt again. thanks.
