Urad dal-1 cup
Keerai-2 cup
Asafoetida-1/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 tsp
Green chillies-2 nos.
Salt -1/2 tsp(or required)

Soak dal for 20 min.
Wash and strain water.
In a mixer jar first grind g.chillies and later add urad dal,salt and g.g.paste and grind.
The dough should be too coarse and no water should be added.
Now remove from jar and add keerai and mix well.
When oil is hot enough,take a handful of dough flattening them and placing a hole in center, fry them in oil until crisp.
Serve along coconut chutney.
Keerai should be washed before chopping them into bits and water should be allowed to strain completely before mixing it to the dough.
If flattened too thinly it would be more crispier.
