Aloo Gobi Fry (Dry)

Description

Spicy Aloo Gobi Fry.  It will go well with all variety rices, chappathi.
Ingredients
3 no Potato (peeled & cut into small pieces))
1 no Cauliflower ( cut into small pieces )
1 no Onion (chopped)
1 no Tomato (finely chopped or crushed)
2 T Ginger garlic paste
1 T Chilli powder
2 T Corainder powder
1 T Cumin powder
1 T Garam masala powder
¼ T Kasthuri methi
2 no Green chilli
½ T Cumin seeds
Salt to taste

Instructions

Fry potatos and cauliflower pieces  seperately in oil . Keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan , Saute cumin seeds. Add chopped onion, tomato, green chillis,ginger garlic paste  and allow it to turn soft. Now add  turmeric powder. chilli powder, corainder powder, cumin powder , kashturi methi, salt with very little amount of  water(1/4 small cup). Allow this mixture to cook  for 3 to 5 mins. Once the oil ozzes out from the masala add fried potatos and cauliflower pieces in to masala. Cook it in low falme for 2 to 3 min. Once all the pieces are mix well with masala. Sprinkle some garam masala.

    One of my favourite.. Aunt here no so we are givin most recipes here and askin her to make it…. it was really awesome….. oru parukka kuuda micham illa…dish clean panina mathiri we finished it…

    Happened to check few of ur postings today.Ur aloo-gobi final outcome looks damn tempting.Too many posts coming up,I am not sure when I would be giving it a try.As of now I am relishing my mom’s food.This is the time u tend to get rest rite..So it’s long since i stepped into the kitchen.Hope I don’t forget cooking.Anyway’s keep up ur good work.Have a great day!!!!

    should we deep fry the veggies or just a shallow fry with small amount of oil in sauce pan?

       yes u should deep fry the veg and drain them for later use.
