The Perfect Pecan Pie Recipe
Pecan pie is a pie made of pecan nuts mixed with a filling of eggs, butter, corn syrup, white sugar & brown sugar.

Ingredients
Pie Crust

Ready made pie crust dry mix
I am using Betty Crocker Brand

Ingredients for the filling

White Sugar

Brown sugar

Salt

Corn syrup

Vanilla

Melted Butter

Instructions
To make the Unbaked Pie crust
Stir pie crust mix and cold water until the pastry forms a soft ball.
After stirring pastry into a smooth ball. Place in center of 9-inch pie plate; press evenly on bottom and side.
To Make the Pie
Preheat 350F
Mix white sugar, brown sugar and salt in a bowl.
Add in melted butter, corn syrup, vanilla and eggs. Whisk lightly.
Spread chopped pecans over the unbaked pie crust, pour in the syrup over it. Arrange whole pecans over it.
Cover with foil and place the pie plate in a baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes @350F
Remove foil and continue baking for another 20 minutes.
Once done, allow it to cool for 2 hours or overnight. Serve in thin slivers.
