Description
Very mild vegetarian kurma made with lots of vegetables and coconut milk. Tastes good with plain rice, pulav, idly, dosa, Poori and parotta. Hope u will like it.
Ingredients-1 | |

2 cup | Mixed vegetables[cauliflower,beans,carrot,potato,and peas preferred] |
Ingredients-2 | |

1 no | Big sized onion[half for grinding and half finely chopped for sauting] |
½ no | Tomato[chopped for grinding] |
1 | Green chilly[slit open] |
1 tsp | Fennel seed |
½ tsp | Poppy seeds |
1 T | Ginger garlic paste |
2 nos | Cloves |
One inch cinnamon stick | |
2 T | Roasted gram [odacha kadalai] |

1 T | Corriander powder |
1 tsp | Garam masala powder |
pinch | Turmeric powder |
Salt as per taste | |
Oil and ghee [as per need] | |
1 cup | Coconut milk |
Instructions
1. Take a pan add oil, chopped onion and ginger garlic paste and saute well till it turns translucent.
2.Add Vegetables and saute well .
3.Grind all the contents in ingredient no.2.
4.Now add the ground content to the pan and mix well untill the raw smell disappears.
5.Now add corriander powder,turmeric powder,garam masala and salt and mix well.Add water and allow the vegetables to boil.
5.When vegetables are half cooked add coconut milk to the content and allow the whole content to cook well ,add water if u find the Kurma very thick .
Once when u find the vegetables are cooked garnish them with corriander leaves.
Hot Vegetable Kurma is ready to be served.
