4 tsp | Desiccated coconut /copra |
1 no | Cinnamon stick |
2 nos | Cloves |
1 no | Cardamon |
¼ tsp | Asafoetida powder |

HI, i made this powder. now to prepare 1 cup rice vaangi bhaath how many tsp/tbsp shall i add?

Thanks Rati, just add about one tablespoon for 1 cup of cooked rice and then add more if you prefer it strong and spicy or adjust according to your taste. You may also check this recipe for Brinjal Rice / Vangi Bhath / Kathrikkai sadam

Hi Mullai I tried the recipe and it came out great. If i have to make the powder in large quantity whats the proportion? How many spoons of powder (vangibhath powder) should I use for 2 cups of rice? Please advice. Thanks Valli
How do you prepare this Vangi Bhath rice.
I use the MTR ready made mix. Do you add tamarind or brown sugar
while you prepare ?

hi do u use indian mixie to grind them to a fine powder r some other thing
Coffee grinders works fine for making podis. I use one of those for making fine powders, you can also grind with regular Indian mixie, but the only problem is … it won't work well for small quantity.
