An easy and quick lunch specially when in a hurry in the mornings
Ingredients | |

4 nos | Ripe tomatoes |
4 nos | Green chilies |
2 nos | Medium onions |
3 nos | Pealed garlic |
2 strands | Coariander leaves |
1 cup | Rice |
1 pinch | Turmeric powder |
Instructions
Cook rice seperately and keep it aside.
In a pan, heat a little oil and add seasoning (musturd seeds, asafoetida). Then add the onions, pealed garlic and green chillies. Once the onions are light brown in colour, add the tomatoes. Add salt according to taste, a pinch of turmeric powder. The turmeric powder gives it a very good colour.Leave it closed for around 4-5 mins till cooked. Then add the corriender leaves.
Mix the cooked rice with this and pack the lunchbox in just about 15 mins:)
