1 no | Eggplant(the big variety) |
2 T | Red chilli powder |
1 T | Coriander powder |
1 tsp | Turmeric powder |
1 tbsp | Rasam powder |
1 tbsp | Ginger garlic paste |
Salt to taste | |
Oil |
Instructions
Cut the brinjal into round slices(not too thin nor too thick) and make slashes in the middle. Mix the powders, gingergarlic paste with little water and salt into a smooth paste. Apply this paste on the slices and let them marinate for an hour.
Heat little oil in a tava or pan and fry the slices. Serve hot with sauce or even curd rice.

Receipe sounds good but, why Rasam Powder ?
Hi, I used Rasam powder becos it gives a little punch to the dish…..as it has pepper, cumin, red chillies, dhals etc already in it..:))
