Thakkali vengaya chutney
Preparation
Cut onion and tomato into chunks, first grind red chillies and garlic with little salt then add the cut onion and tomato. Temper the chutney with mustard and curry leaves and allow it to simmer for 5 mins for the raw taste of onions to disappear. Serve with dosa or idli

| For tempering | |
| 1/4 | tsp mustard seeds |
| 4 to 5 | curry leaves |
