Sukka/ Chukka refers to dry stir fries and can be made with either meat or veggie. My favorite choice of meat is chicken and I'm soooooooo addicted to my moms chicken sukka recipe which is a regular at my home on Sundays, if I were to choose sambar as the main course. 1 Bunch Spinach, Chopped and Washed thoroughly.
1 cup Moong Dal (Pasi Parupu)
1/2 spn Turmeric powder
Salt to taste.
For Paste:
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
2 or 3 Red Chilli
4 Tblspn Coconut (Shredded)
2 Tsp oil
Tempering:
Mustard, Red Chili, Few Curry Leaves
Method:
In a Kadai add 1 spn oil and fry cumin seeds, red chili and coconut. Make a Paste and keep aside.
Pressure cook the Moong dal and Chopped spinach together for 2 to 3 whistles.
this is a sweet dish made out of maida flour. moong dhal sundal complements with it well.
Rasavangi is a dish mainly made with Brinjals, but i tried out with white pumpkin today. And voila taste wasnt tht bad!! try it out for urself and let me know…..
