A simple and tasty recipe for adai.
Ingredients | |

1 cup | Rava |
1 cup | Carrot (grated) |
1 cup | Coconut (grated) |
1 cup | Coriander (finely chopped) |
2 nos | Green chillies (finely chopped) |
1 tsp | Salt (as per taste) |
Instructions
Mix all the ingredients (rava, grated carrot, grated coconut, chopped corainder, chopped chillies and salt) by adding water little by little into a thick batter. Heat a griddle or tawa and put one ladle of the batter and pat it very thinly into a round shape. Pour oil all round and turn it, cook the other side also and remove from the tava when fully cooked.
Notes
If needed, 1/2 tsp red chilli powder can be added to make it more spicy.
Pat it as thin as you can for a crispy adai.

Tried this too today and it came out well. Very easy and healthy dish. I think we can add some more vegetables to this which will be more healthier. Anyways thanks.

tried this and it came out very well, as you mentioned its an easy instant item. Going to try your paniyaram too, but I dont have the paniyaram pan, so need to deep fry it.

Not necessary, but roasted is also fine.
