pudina chutney

Description

pudina is good for digestion.this chutney goes well with idli,dosai,aappam and chappathi.
Ingredients
1 bunch Pudina
3 nos Bigonions
3 nos Tomatoes
6 nos Redchillies
1 tsp Mustard
1 tsp Uraddhall
pinch Lg
½ cup Coconut
Salt as perneed
Oil
1 tbsp Tamarind paste

Instructions

heat a kadai,and add 2 table of oil,when it is hot add mustard,urad dhall ,LG and red chillies and fry till the dhall turns to brown colour.then add the chopped onions and saute for few mts,add the tomatoes and saute for 5 mts till they become mushy.then add the washed pudina leaves and coconut and saute for 1 mt and off the stove.when it has cooled grind the mixture in mixie with enough salt and tamarind paste,to a course consistency.enjoy with hot idlies

Notes

in this same method you can use coriander leaves instead of pudina,peerkanghai withot the skin.
