Description
Phirni or rice pudding is very common in North India specially in Jammu Kashmir .This kheer is not only prepared in India ,but in Pakistan, Middleeast countries also.
Ingredients | |

2 T | Basmathi rice |
2 cup | Whole milk |
6 tsp | Sugar |
½ tsp | Rosewater |
¼ tsp | Cardomon powder |
1 tsp | Badam |
1 tsp | Pista |
1 tsp | Kaju |
1 tsp | Raisins |
Instructions
Soak rice for 30 min and grind to a paste like nice rava keep aside. Boil milk and add the rice paste and stir continously to avoid lumps . Cook till the paste is cooked remove from the fire and then add sugar and stir well to dissolve (sugar can be according to taste) .Lastly add rose water ,cardomon powder and garnish with loads of fried nuts, raisins
Notes
It can be served or cooled .I personally advice to serve cool.
Lots of nuts can be added its to individual taste.
